A few questions about shipping
1I have been fighting with my local fedex to re-route my shipment to a local fedex store just like I have done countless times, and no luck. I called the main office and they said that its shipped with fedex home and thus I cannot hold it at my local office. Is casemates shipping with something different than what wine.woot shipped with? Also if I was just going to have an address ship directly to the fedex store, do I need to input it differently?

nope
Interesting I was able to shift my first casemates order online when I realized I didn’t put in my office address. All that happened to me was a 1 or 2-day delay in it arriving.
I’m sorry you are struggling.
pure Bravo-Sierra.
I’ve been receiving shipments at my local FedEx office for over five years with nary an issue home, ground or air.
You should be able to re-route it by going on-line.
@rjquillin I also re-routed everything for the last 5 years, so I’m just very confused as to how my address is spelled that the fedex site doesnt want to find it
@tiger7610 Were you using the website previously to reroute your packages or doing it over the phone? You should be able to plug in your tracking number on the FedEx website, then choose “Customize Delivery”, then “Hold at Location”.
Agreed with everyone. Doing the reroute on line is by far the easiest way to do it for me. Our Fed Ex driver has an uncanny way of timing the one hour a day no one is home with our wine deliveries so everything now goes to the Fed Ex office which fortunately is very close to our house.
Walgreens is also a place where you can have fedex deliveries held just like the fedex offices. This is where mine go as Walgreens is closer than fedex to me.
For all hold locations go to the following link and just add your zip code and choose “hold at location” from the “I want to > more” menu.

@mshilko Whoa. I didn’t know this was a thing.
None of my local Walgreens are listed, but the Jewel-Osco is.
@fibrs86 @mshilko my area had 3 walgreens listed. 2 is get robbed walking out of carrying wine.
I’ll agree with all the others, I successfully rerouted some Casemates purchases. They were held in a Walgreens about a mile from my house.
I have also been using Walgreens, just picked up an order on my way home from work this evening. The service is a bit slower than my local FedEx and if I am picking up multiple boxes I have to sign for each one individually but it’s a lot less out of the way for me.
PLUS… the new manager at FedEx sent one of my packages back… after only 4 business days (unless you count Saturday as a business day which he and I agreed to disagree on)… while neglecting to call and warn me (ignoring company policy), despite having my number posted on the wall in back (because I have so many packages delivered there)… and the coup de grace… while simultaneously accepting new packages for me as he gave my other package back for return.
Happy to have an alternative but sorry for the FedEx workers who will no longer be getting free random bottles of wine several times a year from me.
