This deal is cheaper than you’ll get in the tasting room! But, they do offer a lot of other really tasty sparkling wines and it’s a great opportunity to try them!

I don’t know when he will be in town, but if you two really wanted to split a case (I am with him) I am sure he would be good with me shipping it to him and have it whenever he comes back into Columbus. Have shared with both of you before, and worst that happens is you change mind and I am left with more awesome bubbles. Just throwing that out.

Most my crew tends to love the dry/very-dry style with lots of tight bubbles, sour-dough breadiness and maybe some random citrus/mineral zippy-ness. The “layer of cream” in the description gives me pause; if the takeaway after each sip is (predominantly) sweet, I’ll be drinking this alone. Not that I’m opposed to that, but I like my bubbly most when shared with family/friends.
@knotworking The Gruet Blanc deNoir is my favorite sparkler. I don’t find it very sweet. In fact, for people who don’t enjoy a dry sparkling wine, I add a little elderberry liqueur to the glass to sweeten it up. It has a long-lasting cascade of tight bubbles and a lovely pale pink color. At less than $12 dollars a bottle for the case price, you can’t beat this deal.
Pale Salmon in color, the Blanc de Noirs has aromas of berry and pear, complimented by a rich, round mouth feel on the palate. It finishes with a layer of cream and pleasant, warm toastiness. Incredibly versatile with all styles of food!
