Is it like meh where the processing falls off for awhile then comes back when the wine ships, or does it stay processing until the wine ships then become a real charge?
@MSUMike mine still says “processing”. On the other mediocre site I frequent (meh) that processing eventually falls off without a real charge until the item is shipped. Wondering if it works the same way here or if it goes straight from processing to a real charge.
Your order will stay in “processing” status until it ships and shows movement on tracking. Then it will update to “shipped” and you’ll get your tracking email.
Regarding charges, we send a pre-authorization when you place your order. We complete or “capture” the funds once it ships. (So yes, similar to meh.)

@Seeds I think what you are seeing when it says “processing” after you order is related to processing the order. then it “ships” within 2 weeks.
Every time I have ordered… and I have used different cards. The charge is processed immediately.

@Thumperchick Maybe the shipping is faster here so it’s a non-issue, but my question is this:
on meh it goes: Processing->funds available again->funds captured/shipped
On here does that middle step of funds available again happen? It’s not the end of the world, just simplifies things if it doesnt.
@Seeds It depends on how quickly tracking is scanned. That middle step is fairly common here.
