Surely you have a lot of Casemates-branded ah-sos sitting around. . . there is still time to put them in the Scott Harvey Cases with either an '07 or '08. Just saying. (Or put them on meh, morningsave, or somewhere I can get one!)
@karenhynes@KNmeh7@Winedavid49 Or because IL isn’t in on this one. I have to say, the ‘silent butler’ style opener has become my distinguished method for opening wines.
Maybe, maybe in the Harvey’s?
I was lucky. I believe we had 12 out of 12 good bottles last time, though the corks were in various states. I’d gotten a few 2005 Washington state Syrahs (that were awesome!) from my boss that all had bad corks, so I well understood how helpful the ah-sos were for that situation. I got a case this time, mainly for 2 other people we know who love cabs, like them aged, but don’t have (or want to bother with) a cellar. So this is obviously a great opportunity for them. I’m keeping just one for myself. We don’t drink Cabs (crazy, I know), but fun to pull out with guests, and when they comment, “oh, 2007, wow” I reply matter-of-factly “I only drink 2007s, great year” as if I just buy my favorite vintages.
How much more are you saving by buying a full case?

2007 Moran Manor Anagram Red Blend - $90 = 37.49%
This Anagram Red Blend is really good! There must be lots of this in stock, I have purchased here on two other occasions. Not all of the corks fall apart.
@ttboy23 Just for the record, @wnance and I never had any faulty corks in our batch from April, and neither did my brother-in-law in his case, nor my friend in GA (who was locked out of today’s offer). In any case, it would be worth the cheese cloth to have this wine! Maybe a few bad ones in the mix?
I still have 6 bottles from the last sale. Three bottles had the corks breakup while opening, three others were not a problem opened very carefully. Two of the three that had cork problems were awful; one was so bad I just poured it down the sink. The other four were absolutely fantastic; one of my favorites actually. YMMV. I have been buying so much lately I can’t even think about this; otherwise I would seriously consider a crapshoot. In any event, I agree with @KNmeh7; it sure would be nice to be able to get one of those Casemates Ah-So’s somehow
@bottomlesspit I’d go ahead. This was an amazing wine from the last order. I bought on advice from wnance, and I didn’t regret it. Right now, I’m trying to scrape together a few pennies and a Casemate or two to split. Go for it!
2007 Anagram Red Blend, Knights Valley, Sonoma County
Each order will receive one Casemates Ah-So Wine Bottle Opener
Tasting Notes
This voluptuous 2007 Cabernet blend – a fan favorite – has reached exuberant flavors and textures and will continue to evolve for another decade. Upon first sip, these fruit and spice characteristics overlap with subtle vanilla. Its toasty overtones are derived from the barrel-aging process in which oak from three very different regions (France, Hungary and the U.S.) is integrated into the wine. Its aromas of cherry and red raspberry commingle with spicy nutmeg and bold clove. Underlying hints of dried cranberries and fruit leather add further to its complexity. Velvety tannin and sturdy acidity give this wine a balanced mouthfeel that is at once powerful and approachable. These qualities make the 2007 vintage a wonderful complement to strong and hearty food pairings.
Vintage and Winemaker Notes
Great wine, Hard to open. This wine requires an Ah-So, sooo, we are including one.
A baby who wouldn’t sleep began the Moran family sojourn into the wine business. As a two-year-old, John Moran was impossible to get to sleep. Like a lot of parents, we tried to cure him of this by taking him for long car rides. From San Francisco, those rides always went north into some of the prime wine-growing regions of the world.
One rainy Sunday and 90 minutes outside of the city, we came upon a large white Victorian home in the middle of a beautiful valley we had never before visited. The house stood out like a pearl in the oyster. When we reached the property, there was a large FOR SALE sign out front. The rest, as they say, is history. We bought the house and the surrounding twelve acres and started two projects: the development of a small winery and the restoration of the house.
Today, Moran Manor is a small family-owned vineyard located in Knights Valley, Sonoma County. The estate is owned and operated by us - Rich and Carol Moran and our four children. Oldest son Brady Moran took over as vineyard manager in 2018.
Now committed to making just 4 barrels of red wine each year, our 1 acre vineyard is planted to 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 10% Syrah. Our first vintage of Anagram, our classic red blend, was released in 2002, and we have been learning and growing and going strong ever since…
Just got this in today. Thank you @Winedavid49 for the ah-so opener! Last time I tried to use one of these, I pushed a cork all the way into the bottle. But it turns out once you figure out how to slide the tips in gently and one at a time, it works pretty well.
I also just got my case, and despite having never had a cork issue, I needed to use the ah-so opener. The cork was very light and soft, almost pulpy. The wine had stained up the side of the cork a little, travelling up a crack in the wood. Thank you for including the ah-so openers, as I hadn’t had one previously!
@Mar6867 You get free shipping if you have continually paid your monthly charge since the Kickstarter funding. If you let it lapse, that is the end of it, and no way to get it back.

Or just send me one…just because.

@karenhynes @KNmeh7 @Winedavid49 me too
@KNmeh7 ditto

Okay fine I’ll wake up CASEMATES!!!
I’m in for a case. Previous Rattage plus the overall stats and price point all appear to be aligned with a solid buy. 2007 to boot!
Other than disintegrating corks (thus the Ah-So!), the reviews seemed pretty good last time (Sept 2018) last time.
Anyone in SoCal want a few bottles?

@MarkDaSpark Maybe a couple
@MarkDaSpark Maybe it’s just me, but your link to the previous offer not working. So just in case(mates) :
https://casemates.com/forum/topics/moran-manor-anagram-red-blend
@MarkDaSpark I’d take another couple, or so.
@kaolis
Weird why it isn’t working now. And of course, I can’t edit to correct it!
@kaolis @MarkDaSpark
Below was the link in your post, invalid.

@kaolis @rjquillin
Funny, it worked fine when I tested it.
@kaolis @MarkDaSpark
Likely due to caching on your machine, if I had to WAG.
@MarkDaSpark If you are not “coupled” out, I would take that many too.
@davirom
Last set! You got 2.

No rats on this one? I need some convincing with 3 cases of other casemates wine heading my way this week and next…

@KNmeh7 thanks. my bad didn’t realize that.
Looks like cases are sold out. Any reprieve for this one?
Noooo… the case went out
