So kelaiem and I met up for what might be the first successful N.J. Casemates wine split. Hopefully this will be the first of many. Let’s keep this thing going.
Hello - long time listener, first time caller. I need to start looking into case splits for the sake of my relationship (and personal safety…my SO may murder me if another case gets delivered). Kelaiem directed me here so wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone was interested in splitting cases (starting with today’s). I’m NYC based - work in midtown and live downtown. let me know!

2 each for @hscottk, @InFrom, @Montepulciano, @kelaiem, and @Seeds and we’ll have 2 leftover and it sounds like there’ll be 2 extra but I don’t think we’ll have a problem sorting that out. I’ll go ahead an order a case. Shout if something comes up though, no problems.

@pnlm If i hadn’t recently picked up the Tudor/Highlands project SLH Pinot on WW last month, I would probably try to pull off a case split. It’s a nice discount over the 3 pack.
What say you, NJ peeps? Any interest in splitting the Moran Manor? The 05 and 07s were fantastic and the price was a lot higher. I don’t have VMP/free shipping but am happy to order. @theglassrat we’re basically neighbors so a split should be a piece of cake! @kelaiem funny this should come up for sale right after I mentioned it, right?
@hscottk I love ‘interesting’ white wines, and lighter-bodied reds, so today’s offer not for me (unless I needed wine to make sangria with). In for a future split, however!
@theglassrat By lighter reds, I’m guessing Pinot? Would zin and Sangiovese fit into that category? I primarily drink reds, but will have the occasional white, so I’ll keep that in mind as well.

It’s too sweet/not complex enough for my tastes, and I’d ordered the case (only opening the 1 that I already did levels. I like sweet wines, but this tastes like Welch’s white grape juice to me. I think I have a sugar high off a tall shot glass worth!)
@Montepulciano oh I forgot that you were going for 6! We were barely shy of 24 bottles. Need a spreadsheet for these things. Do you mind just 2 or 3 bottles? I only ordered one case.
EDIT: Also easier to bring into the city on a weekday but I can also bring it over the weekend when I occasionally drive in

@hscottk The recent Cinsault offer was perfect for me in terms of reds (and Pinots too). Not that I would have split the Cinsault!
