It’s crazy how obvious that error was. If it was only something in Italian it would look like a brilliant article.

Thanks was going to post this one. It’s interesting to see the variability of fact checking on articles. The Forbes one (I’ll post next) for instance is horrible where this one is pretty accurate.

@jaybird I find humor in the dumbest things too. Most of these articles state rutledge founded woot, woot started selling wine, amazon bought woot for $110 million. etc.

I interpret that to say ‘some guy we don’t know, founded some site we’re unfamiliar with, but amazon paid a lot of money for it so we should have known about it and now we have to justify writing about it’.

edit * I’m sure that my interpretation is incorrect, however i make things up on the regular and thought i’d share this one
