RJQ, while I like the sentiment here. I think it may be time to take the plunge and rent a large storage locker. You have so much and it would be good to protect it. Holding at others places is fine as long as it’s understood that they are going to drink your wine. But wouldn’t it be so much better to consolidate everything and know what you have and better yet be able to get to things you want to pull.
@CorTot You may not know or have forgotten - he already has three lockers in different facilities… Or you know that and it’s true that consolidating might be a good move on his part. There was a plan to build a separate little shed out in his yard, I thought.
@tklivory Yeah, since I’ve been down with something flu-like going on week two now they have gently reminded me of, at last count, the ten I need to fetch that they have now extended beyond their initial hold period. Last w00t! today didn’t help much either.
Hopefully some splitz will help control the volume and share the grape a bit.

Also, you’re going to have to have a sturdy sense of humor if we’re going to do this.
We drink plenty but I’m not interested in collecting or needing extra storage space for my wine. We’re also big beer drinkers if this site ever expands to that.

Klez, tell him to bring some of that good Israeli wine! I don’t remember the name of the wine he brought to the 10-year Wootiversary in NoVa but it was delicious. One of the best wines of the night, among some heavy hitters. While I was even more wowed to meet his lovely wife, the wine came close.

Yep. SD here (as are a few lurkers that i work with). I’m sure we could swing a split or two local. No storage right now, though.
