Perhaps because I am a subscriber, I got this notice regarding COVID protocols from the POPS. The 2 things that jumped out at me were that proof of complete vaccination at least 2 weeks prior to the event will be required to be verified at the gate (that should slow things down) and that lawn seating will be limited. They will contact folks who have already bought tickets (looking at you @ScottW58).

You should ask for a card, though, since the vaccine will likely be approved before then and you’ll be clear by whatever metric.

Assuming rjq was in the treatment group (the discussion is trivial otherwise), a card should be available after it gets EUA. @davirom it works for small amounts to bring in, for larger amounts I’d arrange to meet someone before or after. Bring coolers as it’s usually too hot to leave it in your car.
@ScottW58 I volunteered a dessert upthread and I can do more. If you are serious about tacos (from the other forum), there is a tortillaria in ELA where I can pick up street taco size corn tortillas that will have been made fresh that day. Not sure about how to warm them though. . .

While it’s still technically an emergency use authorisation I expect it will be hard to enforce vaccination requirements outside of healthcare (and related) settings. But once they are formally approved via the “regular” process I see no reason why they won’t be required in schools the same way literally all other vaccinations are required.

I alter it to go 75/25 bread flour to white flour and I use Morton’s coarse kosher salt.
I’d try it from the original recipe first to see what you think. It’s really easy!
@CorTot The wife made the bread. For this first attempt she followed Alton’s recipe. It seems a little lighter textured than I remember yours, so we’ll probably do your mods next time. Still very good, so thanks!

Well, we are back to food salvage and fridge replacement, but last night was a wonderful interlude from the chaos. It was great to see everyone and have a chance to relax. The food was wonderful and yes, we will try to make the bread. Everyone chant: Chair for Klez! Chair for Klez!
