About Canoe Ridge Vineyard: “Canoe Ridge Vineyard is one of Washington State’s most recognized wineries, with its namesake vineyard established in 1989 in the Horse Heaven Hills American Viticultural Area. Varieties are focused on Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The name comes from a ridge by the vineyard located along the mid-Columbia River, near the town of Paterson.”

TASTING NOTES: “Fragrant aromas of dark berries lead to a palate of dark fruits, black plum and blackberry that are complimented with hints of dark chocolate on the finish.” (AbV 13.5%, pH 3.91, TA 5.5g/L)

VARIETALS: 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 20% Syrah.

BARRELS: 12 months in French oak.

Two electrically charged particles apply an electrostatic force on each other, a force commonly referred to as Coulomb force, for some unfathomable reason. The equation to derive this force multiplies the charges’ magnitudes, divided by the distance between them, multiplied then by the Coulomb constant. No idea where they get these names from. The Coulomb constant is 1 over 4 π and the electric constant.

It has a few limitations, however. First, the charges must be literal points or spheres. No weird shapes. Second, the charges can’t overlap. Gotta have some distance between them. Third, the charges must be treated as stationary.
