About Clara C’
A premium winery founded by Clara Carpenè just outside Valdobbiadene, they produce great wines out of the Veneto terroir. Near the best Cru for Prosecco in the world, Clara C’ sources top grapes from the region’s producers and maintains partnerships with many of the greatest still wine makers in the area. Their brands include Clara C ’, Fiori di Prosecco, Fiori di Cartizze, Donnaclara, Feminine Prosecco, Brutissimo, Fiori Rosè and La Casa dei Fiori, all stocked and produced in Valdobbiadene.

TASTING NOTES:
“This elegant Pinot Grigio is rich of ﬂoral ﬂavor, fruity taste and slightly spicy. The taste releases fullness and balance. Straw-yellow, almost coppery color, generally medium perfumed but considerably complex aromas. Noble with a strong texture and well rounded, sometimes it is slightly sweet, but always very fresh.” (AbV 12%, RS 2-4 g/L)

TANGENTIALLY RELATED FACT to help you make conversation over this wine:
The phrase “get the net” is used by Mike Meyers as Wayne Campbell in 1992’s Wayne’s World in response to his ex-girlfriend’s continued denial of having broke up two months prior. This particular instance is after she brings him a gun rack as a gift to the local donut shop, despite him owning no guns. It’s unclear exactly what “the net” is. Maybe the internet? Perhaps too early. Another kind of network? I don’t think so. Here’s my hot take: it’s a variation on the phrase “find the net” from sports. When a team finds the net, they scored. If they can’t find the net, they missed continually. His ex-girlfriend continually missed the point. Not convinced? Consider where they are. The donut shop is hockey themed, Wayne is known to play street hockey, and he makes other references to the sport as well (Ex. “He shoots, he scores!”). Case closed.
