About Familia Durigutti
Since 2002, Familia Durigutti have been bringing the sensorial world of their home in Mendoza out of the region’s grapes. Raised with wine all around them, Hector and Pablo Durigutti must’ve internalized the aromas, ingredients, and flavors as they grew up and set them on the path to enology. TANGENTIALLY RELATED FACT to help you make conversation over this wine:
To “make no bones about it” is a weird phrase. Essentially, it means something checks out or there are no objections to something. But why bones? Well, in 15th century England, it was apparently a reference to having bones in a dish, like a soup. If you’re having soup, usually you don’t want to have bones in your mouth. Makes the experience a little less pleasant. So if a situation was not amenable, you might say you “found bones in it.” And then if you see a situation as being okay/fine, you wouldn’t “make bones about it.”
