About Maison Louis Latour
Maison Louis Latour are back with their straight-out-of-Lord of the Rings-sounding description:
“Domaine Louis Latour covers 48 hectares of vineyard, from the red Grand Cru of Chambertin and Romanée-Saint-Vivant in the Côte de Nuits to the white Grand Cru of Corton-Charlemagne and Chevalier-Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune.”
This is basically wine made by the elves. I mean, if you’re French or in the European wine-scene it all probably makes more sense, but the takeaway is that this place produces some real high-brow, high-quality wine. A Grand Cru is a premium vineyard (or the wine it produces), they’re located in Burgundy, and they’ve got the largest holding of Grand Crus there.
