TASTING NOTES:
2021 - “Bing cherry, blackberry and sage. Deep, dark, and luscious. Great with BBQ in the summer and roasted meat or pot roast in winter. Estate grown and bottled.” (AbV 15.7%, pH 3.7, TA 5.7 g/L)

2022 - “Originally Professor Durif cultivated this grape in the Rhone Region of France. However, it languished because of this humid region. In the 1960 Concanon Vineyards in Livermore ‘rebirthed’ this varietal. Classic Americanization… same deep dark fruit and wine as Syrah… individual grapes are much smaller and grow in a tight cluster, ‘let’s call it Little Sirah’, they said. No small mouthfeel here! Dark fruit flavors of plum and black cherries! Finishing with great spicy notes.” (AbV 14.2%, pH 3.7, TA 6.1 g/L, RS 1.2 g/L)

THAT REMINDS ME OF: Frogger.

1981, Konami publishes the hit arcade game Frogger through Sega. The goal is simple: get your frogs home across the highway and past the river. In your way? Oh so many cars and trucks. And beyond that, you’ve got turtles that apparently hate you, runaway logs, and lurking alligators. The game had numerous clones, such as Froggy, Hopper, and Ribbit. Sometimes they took the gameplay and gave it a twist, like making it a golf course in Preppie! or two-player in Pacific Coast Highway (really rolls off the tongue).

He had a segment in the animated Saturday Supercade show where, for some reason, he was made an investigative reporter. He still got run over by cars, though.
