“With a blend of 73% Malbec and 27% Petite Sirah, this untamed wine from our Carmel Valley Estate vineyards has the familiar smell of saddle leather and fresh picked huckleberries. It cuts loose with rustic flavors of blueberry cobbler rounding out its hearty finish.” (AbV 13.5%, pH 3.49, TA 8.4 g/L)

Kick-Ass was/is the title of a series of comic books created by Mark Millar, who has also done some major Marvel runs and other things like Kingsman. The story follows a teenager who decides to become a real life superhero, only to get mixed up with hitman vigilantes the McCready’s and their enemy, the Genovese crime family. It’s simultaneously incredibly grounded and incredibly over-the-top as it is set in the real world (no superpowers or super science) but goes all in on violence and brutality. So far the series has spawned two movies with a third still planned.
