Sauvage - “Gruet Sauvage Rosé is for the sparkling connoisseur who appreciates bone dry acidity. With zero dosage, Sauvage Rosé’s vibrant fruit flavors of wild strawberry and a hint of cherry really shine on the nose and palate and are complemented by bright acidity.” (AbV 12.5%, pH 3.20, TA 7.2 g/L, RS 3.2 g/L)

Brut - “This Brut Rosé has a melon-mango color and tropical fruit, pineapple, orange, and pink grapefruit on the nose. Additional hints of spices like cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and clove. The cornucopia continues on the palate with custard, a real delicacy. The finish is long and round, a sweet kiss.” (AbV 12%, pH 3.20, TA 6.8g/L, RS 8 g/L)

TANGENTIALLY RELATED FACT to help you make conversation over this wine:
“Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?” Classic comeback to someone being obscene or vulgar. Makes some sense. Some people kiss their mothers, mostly when children. People associate mothers with being the pinnacle of virtue or purity or something.

For such an iconic phrase, however, I can’t find anything close to a point of origin. Someone had to have said it first, in such a way that it caught on and spread to others, right? Multiple people independently can’t have organically come to that specific insult at the same time. I can’t find anything, though. Earliest I see it is in text from the early 80’s, so maybe that’s when it started being a thing. It’s been quoted in movies ranging from Wayne’s World to The Avengers, shows from Spongebob Squarepants to The Big Bang Theory… If anyone knows where this came from, please point me in the right direction.
