THAT REMINDS ME OF: The harvestmen! Or you might know them as daddy longlegs. Arachnids of the order Opiliones characterized by their tiny round body and long spindly legs. People like to associate them with spiders, due to their legs primarily, but they’re actually quite different. How different?

First off, they only have two eyes. Spiders tend to have eight. The harvestmen’s eyes are so simple they can’t even form images.

Second, their round bodies. While all arachnids have segmented bodies, the harvestmen don’t have the cinched “waist” between the cephalothorax (the front part) and the abdomen that spiders do.

Third, they have no venom. Apparently some people like to say harvestmen or daddy longlegs are secretly incredibly venomous but have fangs too small to pierce human skin, but this is entirely a myth.

Fourth, they have no problem living or hanging out with a group of other harvestmen. Spiders are all pretty much solo-acts, but daddy longlegs like to party.
