“Basically, we’re the riff-raff.” Could just stop it right there, right? Seriously.

“You know the usual picture? Castles, vineyards, glossy write-ups in Wine Spectator Magazine? Yeah. That’s definitely not us. Our simple take on things:

Damn good tasting wine: check
Quality over quantity: check
Three undercapitalized working stiffs? Definitely check”

TASTING NOTES:
Merlot/Cabernet- “ In our 2014 Bourdeaux-style blend, we let Merlot fire the first shot with its rich notes of cherry, blueberry and mocha exploding on the palate, while allowing the Cabernet to provide the undertones of black cherry, cassis and cedar which linger to a long finish. All this excitement is couched in a mouth pleasing roundness and harmony from long barrel aging.” (AbV 15.7%, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon 66% Merlot)

Party Red - “…the wine is both lively and fun, with roundness and approachability, but not without some solid bass notes. The palate is treated to luscious dark berry and plum, which come from the predominance of Merlot, with Primitivo adding notes of boysenberry and baking spice, and finally Syrah to add tannin and and floral notes.” (AbV 15.9%, Cabernet Merlot Syrah & Primitivo)

BARRELS:
Unsure of the Party Blend, but the Merlot/Cabernet had 60 months in the barrel.

TANGENTIALLY RELATED FACT to help you make conversation over this wine:
In the original version of the play A Streetcar Named Desire, Stella stays with Stanley after giving birth to their child and having Blanche committed at his suggestion. However, in several other versions, including the 1951 film, she ends up leaving him and taking their child with her. Perhaps a slight silver lining to a generally depressing ending.
