TASTING NOTES:\nCabernet Sauvignon - “Deep garnet color with aromas of vanilla, black cherry, sage and a hint of licorice. This Cabernet Sauvignon displays flavors of dark berry jam, baking spices, cardamom finishing with silky tannins and powdered cocoa.“ (AbV 14.5%, pH 3.45, TA 0.66 g/100mL)

Merlot - “This single vineyard Merlot displays a deep garnet color. Aromas of ripe strawberries and Rabbiteye blueberries give way to caramel and cedar. Chocolate, cola and spice make this finish smooth and memorable.” (AbV 14.5%, pH 3.50, TA 0.62 g/100mL)

THAT REMINDS ME OF: Hook, the 1991 film.

A Steven Spielberg project, which he abandoned in pre-production only to re-attach himself to it in production, Hook is sort of a sequel to the Disney animated film Peter Pan. In modern day (so the late 80’s, early 90’s), Peter Pan is now Peter Banning, a middle-aged workaholic married to Wendy Darling’s granddaughter who has two children. After Peter eventually came back to the real world, Wendy cared for him as an orphan and he lost his memories of Neverland. Captain Hook kidnaps Peter’s children for revenge and taunts him to come get them. Peter, returned to Neverland by Tinkerbell, must then remember who he was and stand up to Hook one last time.
