TASTING NOTES:
“This is a Super Tuscan through and through. The heavy blending of Sangiovese with Cabernet and Merlot gives this wine plenty of Tuscan character that is simply bolstered and elevated by the presence of Bordeaux’s top varieties. This wine is more stewed fruits with notes of tobacco and cedar wood showing. The palate is soft and approachable and still shows plenty of life.” (AbV 14%)

The Tusken Raiders of Star Wars have nothing to do with Tuscany. Or tusks. Or Tusk, the band. Often called the Sand People, they are a native species on the world Tatooine, traveling in nomadic tribes and incredibly hostile towards outsiders. Tusken Raiders are completely covered in thick cloth and masks, hiding what they really look like. They have a bond with big, hairy, ram-like creatures called Banthas. The sound of the Tusken Raider language is literally donkeys braying.
