TASTING NOTES:
Lime, orange peel, peach, rose water, mineral, passion fruit on the nose. Lemon zest, rose petal, white peach, pineapple, grapefruit, orange blossoms on the tongue. “The wine is lush with ripe fruit. The layered flavors on the mid-palate are brightened with a fresh acidity that carries the lingering finish.” (AbV 13%, pH 3.12, TA 6.22 g/L, RS 6.02 g/L)

One Punch Man is a Japanese webcomic turned manga turned anime that’s had a rapid rise in popularity due to its memorable characters and comedic deconstruction of the typical strong-guy anime (think Dragonball). In it, an organization known as the Hero Association sends out professional “heroes” (of varying competence) to deal with monsters. At the top is a group of 17 S-Class heroes, ranked by strength/capability. Number 7 is a man known as King, said to be the strongest man in the world who is even able to discourage fights with just his grizzled, stoic, and intimidating presence. Like with most characters in this series, however, there’s more to him than meets the eye.
