TASTING NOTES: “This sweet dessert wine is a blend of 50% Estate grown Zinfandel and 50% Calistoga Petite Sirah. A bit lighter on the palate, not super sticky and sweet; just the right choice to pair with dark chocolate or baked fruit tarts. There’s a touch of spice and mint on the palate as well. It is a fortified wine coming in at 18.5% alcohol. Once opened, it will last about a month due to the lower alcohol.” (AbV 18.5%, pH 3.63, TA 5.5 g/L, RS 8%)

James Sunderland, still mourning his wife Mary who died of a terminal illness, suddenly receives a letter three years later claiming to be from her. The letter asks that he return to a town they once visited known as Silent Hill, Maine, to see her again. James thinks this is impossible, but the letter is in her handwriting.

Upon arriving in Silent Hill, James finds the town covered in a dense fog and seemingly abandoned, save for strange monsters and four other people: runaway teenagers Angela and Eddie, a woman who looks eerily similar to Mary named Maria, and a young orphan named Laura who claims to have been friends with Mary in the hospital before she died…
