About Le Vigne Winery
The Filippini family have been the caretakers of Le Vigne’s land in Paso Robles since they bought it in the early 60’s, but it was around 1989 they began planting grapes as Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon were increasingly grown in the region. After building a state of the art winery in ’95 and planting more vineyards in ’98, they gradually added Merlot, Syrah, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Petite Sirah, Malbec and Tannat to the lineup, using Paso Robles’ and particularly their estates’ unique climate, soil, and coastal influence to their full potential.
