TASTING NOTES:
“Juicy white peach, nectarine and ripe watermelon on the nose. Silky texture with lime zest and tangy strawberry leads to tart and pithy grapefruit on the finish. This Rosé is a perfect warm evening wine. Juicy and fresh white fruits, with texture and a finale of ocean breezes.” (AbV 13.2%)

Foghorn Leghorn first appears in the Merrie Melodies episode Walky Talky Hawky released in 1946, starring alongside Henery Hawk and Barnyard Dawg. The character was inspired by Senator Claghorn from The Fred Allen Show, evidenced by the similar last name. Both like to use the phrases “I say…” and “That’s a joke, son!” As you have likely determined by the title of this sale, the name Leghorn references a breed of chicken, though the “Foghorn” part is in reference to his incessant boisterousness. For whatever reason, he started humming/singing “Camptown Races” after 1949. He an Barnyard Dawg have a deep rivalry, expressed through numerous pranks pulled on each other.
