TASTING NOTES: “Our 2020 Grenache Noir displays the exuberant black fruit flavors and rich, spice characteristics typically found in Grenache from cool coastal climates. The aromas are bright and bursting with notes of black raspberry, pie crust, and bay leaf on the nose. On the palate, the wine has vibrant acidity, fine-grained tannins, and notes of cracked white pepper and black cherries.“ (AbV 12.5%, pH 3.22, TA 6.92 g/L)

Malenia, twin sister of the eternally youthful Miquella, is a demigod, one of several birthed from Queen Marika after she ascended to godhood. Eventually, Marika would shatter the Elden Ring, the thing that had conferred her ascension and dictated the nature of reality itself. Its pieces would be taken up by the various demigods of her lineage, Malenia included. Malenia was a fierce warrior, dedicated to protecting her frail brother Miquella, but also cursed with a rot which would slowly kill her from the inside out. One day, however, her brother was spirited away by an unknown force. She would participate in the war among the demigods known as The Shattering before sequestering herself far away where he brother was taken, hoping one day he might return. The player finds her there and engages in now one of the most infamously difficult boss fights in video game history.
