About Martin Ray Vineyards & Winery
Martin Ray pioneered Californian single varietal, region specific wine between 1943 and 1972 out of Saratoga in the Santa Cruz Mountains. When Courtney Bernham found 1500 cases of Martin Ray wine in a warehouse in San Jose, he decided to take on Ray’s legacy and purchased the brand. Since 1990, he’s been committed to producing wines worthy of the Martin Ray name.

Uncle Beauregard

TASTING NOTES:
“Ripe black cherry, cranberry skins, bramble and notes of bay laurel. A definitive herbaceous tone with notes of English thyme, and chili peppers. Bright acidity and graphite-like minerality with firm, silky tannins and a subtle toffee finish.” (AbV 13.7%, pH 3.78, TA 5.8 g/L, 22.6˚ Brix)

In 1987, Shaggy Rogers received a letter claiming that he’d inherited a somewhat dilapidated mansion on an old plantation from a recently deceased Uncle Beauregard. With Scooby and Scrappy, he arrives at the dreary residence only to be accosted by: his uncle’s ghost, a giant gorilla, territorial hicks, a hunchbacked butler, a bumbling crooked lawman, a cloaked skeleton, and perhaps the worst, the ghosts of some mediocre Three Stooges impersonators.
