TASTING NOTES:
“The cool summer imparted red currant, blueberries, and a bit of earth and leather to the palate. A couple of warm weeks in early August added some ripe cherry, dark fruit, and perfume notes. We find this wine is particularly fun to decant and watch as it develops over a couple hours.“ (AbV 12.9%, pH 3.51, TA 6.5 g/L)

Alright, who also thought comptroller was some sort of outdated esoteric word to refer to a computer keyboard or something? The last thing I thought it’d be was a type of person, though. Well, maybe not the last thing, but still.

So a comptroller supervises the accounting and financial reporting of an organization, basically acting as the chief auditor. They can either be internal or independent, and many governments have acting comptrollers up to the national level. These are known as supreme audit institutions, most of which are members of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions. Intimidating, but also a pretty dope name.
