About Moran Manor
Moran Manor is a family-owned vineyard located in Knights Valley, between Castiloga and Alexander Valley. After discovering a large Victorian home on a rainy car ride, the Morans jumped at the chance to claim it as their own, and upon researching further, found it actually had some history in winemaking. Knowing the prestige of Knights Valley wines, they said, “Why not?” Initially focused on Bordeaux-style blends, they established themselves with their classic blend Anagram in 2002.

TASTING NOTES:
“This Cabernet blend boasts colors of cherry red with lilac tones and aromas of bing cherries, graphite, and lavender. Rich and generous in the mouth, this wine features baker’s chocolate, black licorice, forest spice, vanilla bean, huckleberry, and coffee bean. The dry 2006 vintage created a wine with a lot of tannin, which has helped it age gracefully in the bottle.” (AbV 14.3%, 80% Cabernet Sauvignon 10% Merlot 10% Syrah)

The Mystic Manor is Hong Kong Disneyland’s version of the Haunted Mansion. However, given that the Haunted Mansion’s content is rather macabre, and China isn’t too keen on depictions of death, they took a different approach. An honestly pretty refreshing approach. See, the Haunted Mansion has been around for a long time. And not much has changed outside of some small tech updates. So what they did with Mystic Manor was change it from zombies and ghosts to magically animated antiquities, like a mosaic of a woman that suddenly changes to a gorgon, a statue of the monkey king that creates a cyclone, that sort of thing. Check it out.
