THAT REMINDS ME OF: I put Ssssicily, like the snake sound.

Look, there’s a lot you can talk about with Sicily. It’s the biggest and most populous island in the Mediterranean. It’s been inhabited for millennia. But I want to talk about a snake. A big snake. The biggest of the snakes.

I’m talking about the monstrous Typhon, who happens to be imprisoned underneath Mount Etna on Sicily. The story of Typhon begins with a woman scorned, either Gaia or Hera. Zeus didn’t waste much time making people angry after the gods came into power. Typhon was born of a desire for vengeance, a giant humanoid being whose legs were like serpents and was also covered in the heads of serpents as well. About 50 to 100 depending on who you ask. And they all breathe fire. Typhon would challenge Zeus for rule of the cosmos, and would ultimately be thrown under Mount Etna.

Before that, he did apparently get freaky with a female counterpart named Echidna and produced several well-known monster babies, including the hydra and Cerberus.
