TASTING NOTES: “The color of this crisp Sauvignon Blanc is a pale, flinty, straw color. The aromas are floral (think Jasmine and fragrant rose), clover honey and lemon zest. On the palate the wine has a dry entry with lemon curd and key lime citrus which then folds into guava paste and lychee. The finish displays subtle clove and snappy, juicy citron lemon.” (AbV 13.10%, pH 3.37, TA 6.79 g/L)

BARRELS: Stainless steel.

PAIRS WITH: Fresh oysters with a champagne vinaigrette and freshly grated horseradish, seared Maine Day-Boat Scallops on truffled mashed potatoes with white truffle oil, or flat crust fungi pizza with wild mushrooms and goat cheese or burrata, freshly cut heirloom tomatoes, and an aged balsamic and olive oil drizzle.

THAT REMINDS ME OF: The “Sierra Sounds.”

1971, Ron Morehead and Al Berry(?) are camping in the Sierra Nevadas on a hunting trip. Over the course of the trip, they encountered some strange sounds and potential tracks of something unusual. One night, they responded to the sounds, doing their best to mimic them. This resulted in something of a conversation.

A conversation with what? Morehead believes it to be Sasquatch. Possibly plural.

Are they legit? Who knows. Here are some of the recordings, though.
