About Art + Farm Wine
20 years ago in Western Australia, Kat McDonald got the opportunity to work with a craft brewer down under. After three years, she returned to the US along with her husband Rob McDonald, and together they founded Old Bridge Cellars. Though they were importing Australian wines at first, they planted some vineyards in both Australia and Napa Valley, leading to the production of their own wines. Then in 2008, Art+Farm was born as a vehicle for their single vineyard wines, outrageous blends, and Circadia: an exploration of varietals in their truest forms.

“Grown from pristine, low yielding vineyards in the South Australian wine region affectionately known as ‘The Hills’, this particular vineyard occupies a warm spot in an otherwise cool region and is perfect for Cabernet Sauvignon.

Within your glass you will find a full range of Cabernet Sauvignon flavors. Blackberry to cigar box and everything in-between in the rippling, rolling joy this wine brings to your mouth.“ (AbV 14.9%)

In the special miniseries Over the Garden Wall, brothers Wirt and Gregory are led through a woods called The Unknown by a bluejay named Beatrice to find Adelaide of the Pasture, a witch who could send them back home. Upon finding Adelaide, however, she is in cahoots with a being who haunts The Unknown called The Beast, who has been stalking the two boys through their journey. Adelaide intends to fill the boys’ heads with wool and make them into her puppets, controlled by yarn threads. They manage to escape when they expose her to the night air, which she deems to be poisonous. This is in reference to a superstition in the 19th century that poisonous vapors would come from the ground after dark, making you sick.
