About Vinum Cellars
Vinum Cellars was founded in 1997 by first generation, California family winemakers Richard Bruno and Chris Condos in the Napa Valley financing their dream on credit cards. The focus was then, and remains searching California’s coastal vineyards and special microclimates in search of the best vineyards grown by the states best growers. Each wine is literally hand crafted from single vineyards and made with a small lot philosophy. From Coastal Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Vinum makes varietal wines from single vineyards and appellations throughout California.

TASTING NOTES:
“Aromatically the aromas possess medium and lightly toasted vanilla notes which are enveloped in lemon verbena. The palate is rich with honey, ripe pear and baked apple tart flavors which bounce off additional textured custard notes. The wine has a long finish with opulent Tahitian vanilla, caramel and toast while allowing just the right amount of tropical acidity in the form of guava, mango and passionfruit.” (AbV 13.5%, pH 3.72, TA 5.03 g/L)

Pokémon #311 and #312 are Plusle and Minun, the “cheering” Pokémon. But, really, they’re just Pichus with rounded edges, and Pichu is just big-eared Pikachu. I mean, seriously, how many electric mice do they need? Don’t even get me started on Emolga. Anyway, as their names would imply, Plusle and Minum represent positive and negative charges respectively. Unlike Pikachu, they are entirely bipedal, and they can make electric pom-poms because they cheer? I don’t know. Generation III got weird.

“This is a very rich, textured, creamy Chardonnay which is a classic pairing with Lobster on the half shell (skip the drawn butter). I love it with grilled wild caught Salmon and a lemon pesto caper sauce.
