Do you know The Way? It’s okay if you don’t. In fact, nobody did until 2019! This is because The Way I refer to is the Way of the Mandalore, first introduced in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian (obviously).

The Mandalorians were originally a clan-based society of warriors, but their more traditional beliefs and values gradually fell out of favor over centuries of conflict. These conflicts culminated in the Empire’s purge of Mandalore, which left the universe with very few Mandalorians. The remainder grouped together into tribes, split up, and went into hiding, where some fell into more traditional practices than others. The Way of the Mandalore is a traditional Mandalorian system of beliefs, one that puts loyalty among Mandalorians above all else, places significant value on their traditional armor, forbids the removal of their helmets in the presence of others, and other such things. People in the show often talk about “The Way” and say things like, “This is the Way,” which of course became a meme online. But that’s just the Way things go these days, eh?
