TASTING NOTES:
“complex mixture of bright red fruit aromas: grenadine, white cherry and black raspberry which are well preserved by the lake effect which cools the vineyard each afternoon. Droughty herbs that surround the site impart “air-oir” – sage and bay laurel elements which are apparent in the nose. The volcanic soilimparts a racy mineral energy to the palate and gives the wine a prolonged aging trajectory.”

TANGENTIALLY RELATED FACT to help you make conversation over this wine:
Despite extensive Google searching, I am unable to find the originator of the “Well actually, Frankenstein was the name of the doctor, not the monster” joke. It must be out there somewhere. Or maybe we all just collectively knew. Some sort of inherent cultural knowledge, or a shared subconscious that makes us all readily cognizant of that one guy in our life who would actually say something like “well actually Frankenstein was the name of the doctor” without a trace of irony.

DRINK IT FROM/WITH (conventional option):
A standard red glass, paired with rosemary lamb, wild mushrooms or ratatouille.

OR (really-going-with-the-theme option):
Poured down a Tesla coil. A non-active coil. Unless you really are Frankenstein… ’s monster.
