TASTING NOTES: “The nose is precise, sophisticated, and deep-focused. Finesse is found within the montage of black cherries and dark chocolate-espresso with dry sage, black olive, pencil shavings, and sandalwood keeping it savory. The mouth feel has a vivid vitality, lusciousness and seduces with savory notes, dark berries, elegant tannins. This dark-red beauty rounds out with a fierce, compelling enthusiasm and a long, lingering finish. This is a graceful, eloquent and charismatic Merlot.” (AbV 14.5%)

Italian words, sounds fancy. What is it?

It’s spaghetti with pecorino romano and black pepper. And that’s it. Very simple, very good. It’s believed to originate in the Lazio region of Italy, but it’s hard to say who decided to make pasta with just pepper and cheese first. Perhaps it’s the specific cheese that makes it.
