TASTING NOTES:
Bright, complex, generous and profound with notes of baked blackberry pie, dry sage, white pepper, licorice, medium roast coffee, forest floor and subtle French oak on the nose. Supple attack, delicate roundness, full-bodied moon the tongue, offering sweet spices, pure dark berries, silky tannins and a fresh long finish. (AbV 14.5%, 48% Tannat 27% Cabernet Sauvignon 22% Merlot 3% Malbec)

The butcher’s knot, mostly known as a packer’s knot, is a type of binding knot used for tying parcels and also binding roasts. Most often, it uses a small string, but it forms a knot that can be made taut easily and locked in position. Essentially, it is a figure-eight knot with a half-hitch added on. The figure-eight (a stopper) makes it so you can easily tighten it in position until the desired tension is achieved. Once you get there, add the half-hitch to lock it.
