What is Apriori Cellar about? Well, if you can’t tell by the stark, natural aesthetic of their labels and the artsy backwards “R” in their logo, Apriori wants you to experience wines that are truly a product of their environment. They prioritize balance and terroir, or the environment, in their winemaking, hoping to provide a level of quality, authenticity, and joy that should be part of every wine experience.

In short, they seek to show the beauty and truth of the grapes used in their wines. Not to say that other grapes might not be true grapes, but that these grapes are transparent, the true product of the climate and soil they were tended in. These grapes don’t lie.

In fact, there are actually eleven St. Valentines commemorated by the Roman Catholic Church. Valentine of Rome was the one associated with the February 14th date, though.
