TASTING NOTES:
Petite Sirah - “This Petite Sirah has intense color, with aromas of blackberries and blueberries, vanilla and roasted coffee. On the palate you find a full body wine, blueberry, black tea, dark chocolate, sweet baking spices, cream with a firm, complex and round tannins finish.” (AbV 14.5%, pH 3.76, TA 0.61 g/L)

Zinfandel - “This Zinfandel has a jammy flavor with fruity aromas of blackberry, cherry, plum and black pepper, blending nicely with the oaky notes. On the palate is a wine with full body characteristics, intense flavors and refreshing palate, achieving a perfect balance.“ (AbV 14.5%, pH 3.61, TA 0.56 g/L)

Everybody loves claymation! Well, most people. Some people seem to find it uncanny or something. Anyway, as you can probably guess, claymation is animation achieved through moving and modeling clay figures. It is achieved gradually over hundreds of thousands of shots, with all kinds of little tricks and methods to keep things seamless and make everything flow. Claymation has existed since the beginning of the 20th century, which is crazy considering how close it was to when motion pictures entered the public eye. 1908. Segundo de Chomón released Sculpteur Moderne and Wallace McCutcheon Sr. released The Sculptor’s Nightmare. The latter is kinda wild. In The Sculptor’s Nightmare, a bunch of guys appear to go wild over a guy’s sculptures, actually starting fights. They pay the sculptor, who goes off to have a fancy dinner where he gets excessively drunk. He gets dragged off to prison to sleep it off, and during his time there has a nightmare(?) where three clay busts form on their own.
