About Corley Family Napa Valley
Family-owned and managed, as the name would imply, Corley Family Napa Valley’s been tending vineyards in Napa Valley since 1969. Started by their father Jay Corley, sons Kevin, Chris, and Stephen are the triumvirate running the show these days as president, winemaker, and sales director respectively. Believing great wines are made in the vineyard, they’ve found what they believe to be the most suitable land in Napa Valley for their grapes, including Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

TASTING NOTES:
“I find deep, dark aromas in this wine. Upon first opening, the wine has a wonderful spicy forest floor tone on the nose which evolves into dark and peppery black berry fruit aromas. These aromas are enhanced by toasted vanilla and caramel notes with hints of floral and light herb tones. On the palate, the wine is rich yet lively on the attack. A full-bodied mid-palate with well-structured tannins frame the wine nicely into the finish. The finish itself is long, with medium grain tannins and lingering flavors of boysenberry, blackberry, pepper, and vanilla.” - Winemaker, Chris Corley

In that awkward period toward the end of Bush’s second term, Disney released a short-lived but weirdly memorable (at least in the internet’s consciousness) show titled Cory in the House, a spin off of their previous popular sitcom That’s So Raven. Cory and his father move into the White House as the latter is hired to be the President’s personal chef. Shenanigans ensue. A decade later and it’s apparently still seen as prime comedy material for internet “meme” culture. When scenes like this exist, you can kinda understand why. Kinda.
