About CR Graybehl Wine Company
Focused entirely on Grenache Noir and Grenache Blanc, it can be reasoned that CR Graybehl makes a damn good Grenache. Of course, they’ll tell you they haven’t quite reached Grenache’s true expression yet, but with each passing vintage they get closer to reaching that peak Grenache. Small lot and high quality Grenache from folks who are head-over-heels for it. What more could you want?

TASTING NOTES:
“…classic Grenache aromas of fresh and dried wild strawberries, ripe blue berries, and raspberries that are accented by baking spices and a floral lavender underpinning. A creamy, full mid-palate and firm yet soft tannins bring it home. And there’s a subtle herbal undertone, the result of the 100% whole cluster fermentation we use. Drink over the next 3 to 5 years.” (AbV 14.4%, pH 3.71, TA 5.62 g/L)

The word “grayble” originated from the show Adventure Time and refers to short fables from the distant past relayed to the viewer by a being named Cuber. Since they are of the distant past, it was revealed that Cuber lives far in the future relative to the usual events of the show. Each “grayble” typically has a moral or lesson to it, though your mileage may vary in how useful that lesson is.
