TASTING NOTES:
Sauvage - “With zero dosage, Sauvage Rosé’s vibrant fruit flavors of wild strawberry and a hint of cherry really shine on the nose and palate and are complemented by bright acidity.” (AbV 12.5%, pH 3.20, TA 7.2 g/L, RS 3.2 g/L)

Brut - “This Brut Rosé has a melon-mango color and tropical fruit, pineapple, orange, and pink grapefruit on the nose. Additional hints of spices like cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and clove. The cornucopia continues on the palate with custard, a real delicacy. The finish is long and round, a sweet kiss.” (AbV 12%, pH 3.20, TA 6.8g/L, RS 8 g/L)

VARIETALS: Sauvage is 100% Pinot Noir. Brut is 79% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay, 1% Merlot.

THAT REMINDS ME OF: The Brute Man, a movie from the 40’s.

A big dude with a weird face is going around breaking people’s backs. He takes shelter in a random apartment as he flees the cops. Bad news is the apartment is inhabited. Good news is it is inhabited by a blind woman who does not question why the strange man with a scary voice is being chased by people. The big dude is known as The Creeper, and he continues his killing spree on random civilians and people he believes have wronged him.

Turns out he used to be a popular college football player until his friend pranked him with the wrong test answers, and the professor made him stay after class to do extra work. While doing the extra work, he got pissed seeing that friend walking by and disfigured himself with chemicals. Whoops. And that was enough to go around town killing everyone tangentially related to him getting messed up.
