TASTING NOTES: “In every respect, the 2018 seems to have an extra layer to it, richer, more full in body, and more complex than any other vintage. Still incredibly fresh and pure in fruit, but with a rounder, richer feel.” (AbV 14.5%, pH 3.53, TA 5.28 g/L, RS 0.6 g/L)

THAT REMINDS ME OF: Rizz.

In the past three-ish years, we’ve seen a new bit of slang get massive traction. To a point that Oxford University Press made it word of the year for 2023.

And that word is rizz.

What’s rizz? It’s charisma. Just the middle part of the word charisma. Because I guess charisma felt too archaic or old-fashioned. Gotta make it snappy. And it can be used a verb now. You can “rizz” a person, basically meaning you actively win them over with your personality.
