About Harvest Moon Estate and Winery
Harvest Moon Estate and Winery has grown grapes in the Russian River Valley near Sonoma in Northern California for over four decades. However, their foray into winemaking only started in 2000 when Randy Pitts came home from San Francisco, not only assuming duties as the vineyard’s caretaker but also trying his hand at enology. Their inaugural vintage came about in 2002, and ever since they’ve turned into fine winemakers as well as growers.
Though focused on elevating and exploring Zinfandel, Harvest Moon also has a small assortment of Russian River Valley Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir and Dry Creek Cabernet Sauvignon. We’ve got their 2014 Pinot Noir available now and from a run of only 118 cases.
