Founded by Ken Schultz in western Montana after moving from the Great Lakes region, Schultz found that wine grapes were somewhat hard to come by. Back in Ohio, hed been able to utilize the native varieties, but here, it seemed hed have to improvise. A neighbor left him with 5 gallons of crystalized honey, and, thinking why not, he tried his hand at mead. A full seven years later, he returned to his mead and found that it turned out exceptional! Hidden Legend serves as proof that if you want it, great wine can happen in even the most challenging environments.

This complex honey mead is made using age old wine making techniques substituting honey for grapes to make honey wine. The Kings - The Kings Mead is a traditional style mead that is made in the style of the old world.
