TASTING NOTES:
Deep garnet in color. Rich red and black berries, chocolate, caramel, green pepper, almond, and oak on the nose. Flavors of red and black fruit, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, and oak. Smooth and balanced finish. (AbV 13.9%)

Wes Craven’s 1977 film The Hills Have Eyes follows a suburban family as they are stranded in the Nevada desert and have to contend with a family of cannibals. The movie was in part inspired by the legend of 16th century cannibal clan-leader Sawney Bean. Craven took particular inspiration from how Sawney, seen as a savage man, was executed in a very savage manner by the comparably more civilized society.
