TASTING NOTES: “The nose on this vintage has juicy red apple, lychee fruit, dried stone fruit and hints of tropical fruit. Citrus notes on the front palate, with juicy apple following amazing acidity throughout the mouth and a touch of pear on the end with a sophisticated finish.” (AbV 14%, pH 3.31, TA 5.7 g/L, RS <.2 g/L)

THAT REMINDS ME OF: Playing Horse. The basketball game, I mean. Not like when you make someone pretend to be your horse.

In a game of Horse, you have at least two players, one basketball, and one net. Whoever is chosen to go first takes a shot at the basket. If they make the shot, then the next person has to copy that shot. This includes where they did it from, how they did it, and any other little nuances (eyes closed, behind the back, from the ground, etc). If the next person doesn’t make the shot, they get a letter (H first, O second, so-on). That person gets to take another shot in a new position, and the process repeats. If they try the new shot and miss again, they don’t get a letter.

You only get a letter when you fail to copy a successful shot. Once someone gets all five letters, they’re out.
