About Lang & Reed Wine Company
Where to begin… well, might as well start somewhere at the beginning. Tracey and John Skupny moved to Napa around 1984 after leaving the Kansas City restaurant scene. For the next decade or so, John worked as an executive with multiple wineries in the area while Tracey focused on philanthropy and eventually became a sales director at another winery. After being so immersed in the Napa wine culture, it only made sense that the pair would try their own hand at winemaking under a personal label. After crafting a prototype in 1993, Lang & Reed Wine Company was inaugurated with a Cabernet Franc in 1996.
