TASTING NOTES:
“Classic Cabernet aromas of ripe dark cherry, blueberry and vanilla infuse the glass of this rich, ruby wine. Beautifully balanced and elegant on the palate, our Cabernet Sauvignon features supple tannins complemented by flavors of juicy blackberries, savory herbs and mocha. Medium-bodied and balanced with a lingering black fruit finish, this wine is delicious now and will continue to mature for 3-4 years.” (AbV 13.5%)

TANGENTIALLY RELATED FACT to help you make conversation over this wine:
Have you ever held a cat by its chest/shoulders? Not like a clothesline, more like putting your hands under its armpits? I feel like armpits isn’t the right word because we don’t consider the front legs arms exactly. Point is, you are holding the cat vertically in such a way that its front legs are sticking out horizontally while the rest of it just sort of hangs freely.

You may have observed in that moment that cats are long, at least longer than you’d expected. Granted, part of the illusion is due to their back legs just limply hanging there, but it’s kind of funny to see the cat’s head and front paws looking normal followed by this long furry tube, as if it’s been stretched in some sort of image manipulation software.

Anyway, this goofy phenomena was most notably exemplified through the “longcat” meme. A Japanese cat named Shiroi, or Nobiko (portmanteau of nobiiru and neko, literally stretch and cat), gained viral internet fame during the mid-2000’s as “longcat” after images of her in that silly hanging position gained traction.
