TASTING NOTES:
Courage Zinfandel - “The aromas of ripe red berries and baking spices introduce this wine. Full-bodied with a plump fruit palate of blackberry, boysenberry, cinnamon, vanilla, and toasted oak notes. Our single vineyard Zinfandel finishes with hints of white pepper laced through the lingering lush fruit.” (AbV 15.9%, pH 3.68, TA 0.600g/100mL)

Endurance Estate Red Wine - “Delicate aromas of black cherry and herbs lead to tart cherry and orange zest flavors along with blackberry, toast, and earthy notes. Combined with balanced acidity and rounded tannins, this is a medium-bodied wine with depth and lasting flavor with a spicy zing on the finish.” (AbV 14.6%, pH 3.50, TA .630g/100mL)

Wisdom Cabernet Sauvignon - “Deep red-purple in the glass, this is a rich and full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of blueberry, warm baking spices and toast. The flavors of blueberry follow with plum, mocha and touches of toasted oak notes. Framed by ripe tannins and woven throughout with medium acidity and long, silky tannins.” (AbV 15.4%, pH 3.56, TA .530g/100mL)

VARIETALS: Courage is 100% Zinfandel. Endurance is 70% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Wisdom is 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Malbec.

BARRELS: 16 months in American oak for Zinfandel, 18 months in American oak for Sangiovese, and 20 months in French oak for the Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec.

THAT REMINDS ME OF: The Triforce.

Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series has had over two dozen releases, most of which are meant to stand alone story-wise. However, there are certain elements that are carried over between each of them despite not being linear or necessarily in the same universe. One of these elements is the Triforce. Represented by three equilateral, golden triangles arranged to make a larger equilateral triangle, the three triangles represent the concepts of Wisdom, Power, and Courage. Each game in the series also features the same three characters who each embody one part of the Triforce. Respectively, they are Zelda, Ganon, and Link.
