TANGENTIALLY RELATED FACT to help you make conversation over this wine:
So “ride or die” as a phrase appears to have come into being during the 90’s, out of the hip-hop scene. It referred to the somewhat Bonnie-and-Clyde lifestyle that might exist between a gangster and a woman willing to support/stay with him no matter what. By the 2000’s, it started to diffuse outside the original context and became more of a “undying loyalty” thing.
