About Scott Family Estate: “Scott Family Estate “terroir-inspired” wines are crafted to express the best of regions and vineyards ideally suited to cultivating cold-loving Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. Meticulous selection of sites with distinctive soil types and clonal varieties in Arroyo Seco (Monterey County) and Carneros (Napa Valley) results in fruit with uniquely nuanced flavors and varietal characteristics. These limited-production, ultra-premium wines are produced using small scale eco-friendly farming methods.”

TASTING NOTES: “Fresh aromas and flavors of luscious white peach, ripe apricot, vanilla and toasty oak with vibrant notes of lemon and tropical fruits. Crisp and clean on the palate, with a creamy texture and silky finish. Over a few decades, an appreciation for certain bad movies has been fostered within the general public. These movies are usually not intentionally bad. Most of them come from a very earnest place, where at least one person thought they were making something great. Usually that person is the director, and they’re also the writer, and a surprising amount of times they’re the lead actor. For Birdemic: Shock and Terror, they were just the director and writer.

The movie began production in 2006 and wasn’t released until 2010. The budget was $10,000. Actors were auditioned in a high school parking lot. Permits for filming were not applied for. Repetitive stock sound effects everywhere. Questionable and stiff computer graphics. A commendable environmentalist message presented and delivered in just the most ham-fisted and nonsensical way possible, that almost undermines the legitimate concern. People attacking fake birds with coat hangers. It’s fun? At least in bits and pieces. Something to watch with a group of friends for a laugh.
